I have a passion for Italy, her art, history, architecture, food, and language. My heroes include Michelangelo,
Bernini, Augustus, Dante, Virgil, Caravaggio, Da Vinci, Il Magnifico, Julius II, Constantine, Cicero, et al., who
made Italy beautiful through sculpture, painting, literature, a glass of wine, a slice of cheese, gelato, a spouting
fountain, or a delightful plate of pasta.
My family hails from Campagna and Sicily. Italy is my blood. I spend my days reading history and literature
such as the Divine Comedy, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, The Iliad, The Odyssey, The Aeneid,
The Prince, and countless others. My joy comes from threading history together, and thoroughly comprehend art
and architecture. I love mythology, I love art, and I love how history is explained through art.
I designed Unabellavista: Rome to deliver Italy's beauty in all her forms in one, cohesive, and concise
guidebook. I have been doing research my entire life to bring this book and audio guide to life. I conceptualized it, wrote it, and I recorded the audio guide in my voice to share my passion for Italy with you.
